A lifelong lover of the arts, Elizabeth T. Gilbert earned a BA in English from the University of San Diego, where she also studied art and anthropology. Elizabeth spent the following eight years as an editor, writer, and in-house artist for Walter Foster Publishing. She was deeply involved in the development of art & craft books for adults and children during this time.

In 2011, after serving as Associate Publisher, she built a freelance career that broadened her experience in product development, social media management, branding, children’s book illustration, and authorship. Much of her recent work includes concept development, writing, and layout for guided journals covering a range of lifestyle topics. She is driven by a desire to help others reflect, capture meaningful memories, cultivate personal growth, and make the most out of life.

Elizabeth is based in Colorado, where she enjoys the beauty of the Rockies with her family. In her free time, she can be found playing sports with her children, nature gazing, creating short songs in GarageBand with her husband, and attempting to bake (often unsuccessfully) in high altitude.
